Artist Bio
Linda Williams Filgo - A fifth generation Texan, Linda began drawing at a very early age while observing her father at his drawing board - a draftsman, calligrapher and design engineer. For 25 years she was a commercial artist, designer, illustrator, art director and managing editor. In 2003, she retired from commercial art so she could devote time to painting and drawing. She has studied with nationally known artists: Frederic Mizen at Baylor University, workshops with Michael Albrechtson, Tony Eubanks and George Hallmark, Jerral Derryberry and Andy Thomas. Linda lives in Woodway, Texas with her husband Don, a retired band director. They have three sons, a daughter-in-law and two amazing grandsons.
