  Elisa Rainey is an Adjunct Professor of Elder Law at Baylor University School of Law and speaks frequently to professional associations and groups on many Elder Law topics.  These topics include Wills, Trusts, Medicaid Planning for Nursing home care, estate planning, powers of attorneys, guardianships and probate matters. Likewise, James Rainey speaks regularly to professional associations and groups on the same topics.  Both James and Elisa Rainey provide contining education classes to licensed social workers on elder law issues. 

  James Rainey is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law.  He handles cases involving serious injuries and wrongful deaths.  He also works with other attorneys to handle complex and highly involved injury cases.   He handles trucking and auto accidents, construction accidents, malpractices cases and on-the-job injuries that are not covered by workers' compensation.  James Rainey is ready to handle your serious injury or wrongful death cases. 

  Elisa Rainey was voted the McLennan County Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year in 2001 and James Rainey was voted the McLennan County Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year in 2004.

  Elisa Rainey currently serves as President of the Junior League of Waco and James Rainey currently serves as Vice President of the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association.  Both James and Elisa are members of the National and Texas Elder Law Associations and are members of AARP.
