  The Freeman Center provides medical treatment and support services to patients suffering from substance abuse. The center operates a residential facility providing a wide range of services, such as individual and group counseling, detoxification treatments, nutrition, vocational training, job placement and referral services. The patients are also offered educational programs. The center provides various amenities, including separate living facilities for men and women and a detoxification center. It supports the activities of organizations, such as Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. The Freeman Center was established in 1969, and is located in Waco, Texas.
